FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT MIVA AND TIARO
River levels have fallen and flooding has now eased across the Mary River catchment, with river levels expected to remain below minor flood levels.
A chance of showers is forecast for the remainder of Friday and into the weekend. However, rainfall totals are not expected to be significant and no further significant river level rises are expected.

Mary River downstream of Gympie:
Flooding is no longer occurring along the Mary River downstream of Gympie.
The Mary River at Miva is currently at 4.90 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (7.50 m).
The Mary River at Miva is expected to remain below the minor flood level (7.50 m).

The Mary River at Tiaro is currently at 4.84 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (6.00 m).
The Mary River at Tiaro is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).

Moderate Flood Warning For The Connors And Isaac Rivers And Minor Flood Warning For The Dawson River And Callide Creek

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT YATTON
JAMBIN LIKELY TO PEAK AROUND THE MINOR FLOOD LEVEL THURSDAY EVENING
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TAROOM AND BARALABA FROM OVERNIGHT THURSDAY INTO FRIDAY
Recent moderate to heavy rainfall has caused river and creek level rises and areas of flooding across the Connors and Isaac River catchment where moderate flooding is occurring at Yatton. Moderate rainfall has been observed across the Dawson River and Callide Creek catchments since Tuesday evening and has resulted in river and creek level rises. Minor flooding may occur at Taroom and Baralaba from Friday. Callide Creek is likely to peak around the minor flood level at Jambin on Thursday evening.
Further rainfall is forecast for the remainder of Thursday and into Friday which may lead to continued and renewed rises.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Dawson River to Theodore:
Minor flooding may occur along the Dawson River to Theodore.
The Dawson River at Taroom is currently at 1.87 metres and rising, below the minor flood level.
The Dawson River at Taroom may reach the minor flood level (4.50 m) from Friday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

Dawson River downstream of Theodore:
Minor flooding may occur along the Dawson River downstream of Theodore.
No recent observations are available for the Dawson River at Baralaba, however based on the nearby automatic gauge the river level is estimated to be below the minor flood level (4.00 m) and rising.
The Dawson River at Baralaba may reach the minor flood level (4.00 m) from Friday. Further rises are possible with forecast rainfall.

Don and Dee Rivers:
Minor flooding is likely along Callide Creek.
The Callide Creek at Jambin is currently at 2.60 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (2.65 m).
The river level is likely to peak around the minor flood level (2.65 m) Thursday evening.

Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Connors and Isaac Rivers. River levels are elevated along the Connors River at Pink Lagoon, where moderate flooding is relatively steady.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 14.04 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (9.50 m).
Further rises are expected overnight Thursday into Friday and the river level will remain above the moderate flood level for the next few days.

Final Flood Warning For The Lower Condamine River

FLOODING NO LONGER EXPECTED AT LOUDOUN BRIDGE
Moderate rainfall totals have been observed across the Condamine River catchment during Wednesday. This has caused river level rises and near minor flooding along the Lower Condamine River. Flooding is no longer expected along the Lower Condamine River at Loudoun Bridge.
No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.

Condamine River downstream of Oakey Creek to Cotswold:
Flooding is no longer expected along the Condamine River.
The Condamine River at Loudoun Bridge peaked at 5.98 metres around 03:00 pm Wednesday 02 April, near the minor flood level (6.00 m). The river level is currently at 5.93 metres and falling slowly, just below the minor flood level.
The Condamine River at Loudoun Bridge is expected to remain below the minor flood level (6.00 m).

MODERATE TO MAJOR FLOODING CONTINUES ACROSS QUEENSLAND

Areas of heavy rainfall have now eased across Southern Queensland. A weak trough will linger across central and northern Queensland Friday before contracting northward over weekend.
River levels are likely to remain elevated over the next few days across parts of the Flood Watch area.

No further flooding is expected in the following catchments:

Burrum and Cherwell Rivers
Sunshine Coast Rivers and Creeks
Pine and Caboolture Rivers
Upper Brisbane River
Lower Brisbane River
Gold Coast Rivers and Creeks

MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT TEWANTIN ON THE HIGH TIDES
River level remain elevated along the Noosa River at Tewantin where renewed minor flooding is possible Thursday evening on the high tide.
Further showers are forecast for the remainder of Thursday, however these are not expected to significantly impact river levels. A Flood Watch is current for parts of Southern Inland Queensland, Capricornia and South East Coastal Catchments.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Noosa River:
Minor flooding may occur along the Noosa River around Tewantin on the high tides.
The Noosa River at Tewantin is currently at 0.72 metres and steady, below the minor flood level.
The Noosa River at Tewantin may reach the minor flood level (1.00 m) Thursday evening, on the high tide.
