Moderate Flood Warning For The Connors And Isaac Rivers

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT YATTON
Recent moderate to heavy rainfall has caused river and creek level rises and areas of flooding across the Connors and Isaac River catchment with moderate flooding occurring at Yatton.
Further forecast rainfall may lead to continued and renewed rises across the region over the next few days.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be updated as required.

Connors and Isaac Rivers:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Connors and Isaac Rivers.
The Isaac River at Yatton is currently at 12.38 metres and rising, above the moderate flood level (9.50 m).
The Isaac River at Yatton is expected to remain above the moderate flood level for the next few days. With forecast rainfall further river level rises are possible.

Final Flood Warning For The Warrill Creek

FLOODING HAS EASED AT AMBERLEY
Moderate to heavy rainfall was observed over the Warrill Creek catchment overnight Friday and into Saturday. This caused creek level rises and minor to moderate flooding along the Warrill Creek.
Creek levels have fallen below the minor flood level along the Warrill Creek at Amberley.
Further rainfall is forecast from Tuesday evening which may cause renewed rises.
The situation is being closely monitored and this warning will be re-issued if required.

Warrill Creek:
Flooding is no longer occurring in the Warrill Creek.
The Warrill Creek at Amberley is currently at 3.74 metres and falling, below the minor flood level (4.00 m).
The Warrill Creek at Amberley will remain below the minor flood level.

Warrill Creek at Harrisville:

Hazardous Surf Warning for Queensland

Weather Situation
Surf and swell conditions are expected to be hazardous for coastal activities such as rock fishing, boating, and swimming in the following areas.

K'gari Coast, Sunshine Coast Waters and Gold Coast Waters

Warnings for Wednesday 02 April

Hazardous Surf Warning for the following areas:
K'gari Coast, Sunshine Coast Waters and Gold Coast Waters

Surf Life Saving Queensland advise that:
People should consider staying out of the water and avoid walking near surf-exposed areas.
Rock fishers should avoid coastal rock platforms exposed to the ocean and seek a safe location that is sheltered from the surf.
Boaters planning to cross shallow water and ocean bars should consider changing or delaying their voyage.
Boaters already on the water should carry the appropriate safety equipment and wear a lifejacket.
Boaters should remember to log on with their local radio base and consider their safety management plan.

The next warning will be issued by 5:00 pm EST Tuesday.

Final Flood Warning For The Maranoa River
Issued at 08:11 AM EST on Sunday 30 March 2025
Flood Warning Number: 3

MINOR FLOODING NO LONGER OCCURRING AT WOODLANDS
River levels continue to ease across the Maranoa catchment.
No significant rainfall is expected for the remainder of Sunday and into Monday. However, further rainfall is forecast from the middle of the week which may cause renewed river rises and flooding. The situation will be monitored, and flood watches and flood warnings will be issued as required.

Maranoa River:
No further flooding is expected in the Maranoa River.

The Maranoa River at Woodlands peaked at 5.5 metres, above the minor flood level (5.00 m) on Saturday afternoon and is currently at 3.40 metres and falling.
