Final Flood Warning for the Huon River

Flood Warning Number: 3
Minor flooding has eased in the Huon River.
In the 48 hours to 9 am Tuesday, widespread rainfall totals of 30 to 60 mm have
been recorded in the upper Huon River catchment, with isolated totals of up to
89 mm at North Boomerang (Mt Bobs).
Minor flooding has eased in the upper Huon River at Harrisons Opening and
Tahune. Strong and dangerous flows remain a hazard during Tuesday.
No significant rainfall is forecast in the the next few days.
Huon River above Tahune:
No further flooding is expected in the Huon River above Tahune.
No further flooding is expected in the Picton River.
Huon River - Tahune to Judbury:
No further flooding is expected in the Huon River - Tahune to Judbury.
The Huon River at Tahune Bridge peaked at 4.30 metres around 03:00 pm Monday 19
March and is currently at 1.75 metres and falling.
The Huon River at Judbury peaked at 3.50 metres around 06:00 pm Monday 19 March
and is currently at 2.03 metres and falling.
Huon River around Huonville:
No further flooding is expected in the Huon River around Huonville.
The Huon River at Huonville peaked at 2.40 metres around 08:30 pm Monday 19
