Minor To Moderate Flood Warning For The Warrego River (Nsw)

MODERATE FLOODING POSSIBLE AT BARRINGUN LATE TUESDAY, WITH A PEAK LIKELY DURING THURSDAY
Along the Warrego River, upstream floodwaters from Queensland are arriving in New South Wales. A major flood warning is current for the Warrego River in Queensland, where a major flood peak was observed at Rocky on Sunday morning.
Moderate flooding is possible at Barringun late Tuesday, with a moderate flood peak likely during Thursday.
Further downstream, minor flooding may develop at Enngonia and Fords Bridge Bywash towards the end of this week. Peak predictions will be provided as upstream peaks are observed.

Warrego River (NSW):
Moderate flooding is possible along the Warrego River (NSW) at Barringun. Minor flooding is likely at Enngonia and Fords Bridge Bywash.

The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 gauge is currently at 2.99 metres and rising, above the minor flood level (2.80 m).
The Warrego River at Barringun No. 2 gauge may exceed the moderate flood level (3.80 m) late Tuesday. The river level may peak around 4.20 metres during Thursday, with moderate flooding.

No observations are currently available for Enngonia. Based on readings from the upstream gauge, it is estimated that the river level is currently below the minor flood level (2.00 m).
The Warrego River at Enngonia may reach the minor flood level (2.00 m) around Thursday. Further rises are possible as upstream floodwaters arrive.

The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash is currently at 1.53 metres and rising, below the minor flood level (1.70 m).
The Warrego River at Fords Bridge Bywash may reach the minor flood level (1.70 m) over the weekend. Further rises are possible as upstream floodwaters arrive.

MODERATE FLOODING OCCURRING AT MUNGINDI
MINOR FLOODING POSSIBLE AT MOGIL MOGIL FRIDAY
Morerate flooding is occurring along the Barwon River at Mungindi as floodwaters arrive from the Weir River (QLD) and Macintyre River.
Upstream along the Weir River, a second and larger peak passed Talwood on Sunday 14 April. This peak, combined with floodwaters from the Macintyre River, may cause prolonged moderate flooding at Mungindi.
Predictions for downstream forecast locations will be provided once the upstream peaks are observed.
A moderate flood warning is current for the Weir River (QLD).

Barwon River Mungindi to Collarenebri:
Moderate flooding is occurring along the Barwon River Mungindi to Collarenebri.
The Barwon River at Mungindi is currently at 6.74 metres and rising, with moderate flooding.
The river level may peak near 6.80 metres later Tuesday with moderate flooding. Further rises are possible later this week as upstream floodwaters continue to arrive.

The Barwon River at Mogil Mogil is currently at 5.69 metres and steady, below the minor flood level (7.50 m).
The Barwon River at Mogil Mogil may reach the minor flood level (7.50 m) around Friday.
